Nordic Scholarship

With support from the Nordic Culture Fund, FSCONS is offering a number of scholarships to attend FSCONS. The scholarships will cover part of the cost for attending FSCONS (accommodation and registration fee) for up to 25 individuals (or more, if we can find matching funds!) and are available for participants from Iceland, Norway, Denmark and Finland.

The registration period is now CLOSED, but there are some spaces available especially for people coming from Norway, Denmark and Finland. You can fill in the below information and we will get back to you within a week.

If you want to participate in FSCONS, and are coming from Iceland, Norway, Denmark or Finland, you can apply for the scholarship. All you need to do is fill out an online application and motivate why you think that you should be selected for a scholarship. The deadline for applying is the 31st of August.

Applications will be reviewed by a board consisting of representatives from the four participating countries: Smári McCarthy from Iceland, Anne Østergaard from Denmark, Thomas Gramstad from Norway and Otto Kekäläinen from Finland. The scholarships will be awarded by mid-September.

If awarded a scholarship, you are expected to cover the cost for the travel to Gothenburg, Sweden yourself, but will get both entrance fee to FSCONS and accommodation paid for during your stay.

Please provide a motivation for why you should be selected for a scholarship. Explain, briefly, why you would like to attend FSCONS and how your participation would help further the conference.
