You can find information on public transportation in Göteborg at the Västtrafik site. There you may plan your trip (the nearest stop to the IT University is called Lindholmen, GÖTEBORG (Hållplats)), find the route network map (lines passing Lindholmen are buses 16 and 31), and find general information.

Best value ticket is the 72 hour top up-card for 130 kronor. Please note that this card does not include the airport buses. Tickets are sold by Tidpunkten (Göteborg train central, and Nils Ericson bus terminal) and also the Pressbyrån shop and 7-Eleven.

If you prefer to pay cash, please note that the trams have machines that accept only coins while the buses don't accept cash at all.

View the next bus from Lindholmen (if you're going to town, look for Bus 16 towards Högsbohöjd)! If nothing shows, type in the name of the stop you are going from, e.g. "Lindholmen", "Nordstan", "Domkyrkan", or, "Centralstationen".
